Back in the Sixties and Seventies, both his songs "Blowin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'", became anthems of the civil rights movements and of those anti-Vietnam War.
Dylan wrote the song "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" for the movie ""Pat Garrett And Billy Kid" that was directed by Sam Packinpah.
