Zest For Living Sayings

“If things don't come easy, there is no premium on effort. There should be joy in the chase, zest in the pursuit.” - Branch Rickey

Branch Rickey nicknamed "the Mahātmā" was an innovative Major League Baseball (MLB). He was best known for breaking Major League Baseball's color barrier by signing African American player Jackie Robinson.

In 2009 he was elected the College Baseball Hall of Fame.

These are a few of Branch Rickey quotations:

“A team is where a boy can prove his courage on his own. A gang is where a coward goes to hide.”

“Problems are the price you pay for progress.”

A full mind is an empty bat.”

“Never surrender opportunity for security.”
