I think many of you know or have heard of the 1964 Oscar-winning musical movie "My Fair Lady", which starred Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn.
This film is actually is an adaptation of the Lerner and Loewe stage musical of the same name. And the play is based on the 1938 film adaptation of the original 1913 stage play "Pygmalion" written by George Bernard Shaw.
Besides being a a critic of the arts, George Bernard Shaw is an ardent socialist and also a well-known orator.
In 1925, he was awarded a Nobel Prize in Literature. Then 1938, this writer was awarded an Academy Award for his contributions to literature and for his work on the film Pygmalion.
